People’s magnet, seducer and artist: The documentary Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex, Fashion & Disco explores the magic of fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez and is relations to some of the most influential artists and icons of his era.


His popularity is (…) in Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex, Fashion & Disco, artists, designers and models he 'discovered' such as Pat Cleveland, Jerry Hall are lining up to praise the man who revolutionised fashion illustration. The colourful documentary takes the viewer on a journey through the wild 70’s disco and pop art celebrity culture and captures its zeitgeist perfectly. Whereas the story focusses on Lopez’ excessive personal life, interviews with icons such as Karl Lagerfeld and photographer Bill Cunningham bring the mainly by archival footage led story alive and shine light on his work as an artist.
